Biomedical Engineering Research Center at the University of Anbar Launches a Large-Scale Tree Planting Campaign to Enhance the Campus Environment

Biomedical Engineering Research Center at University of Anbar Conducts Large-Scale Tree Planting Campaign In line with the directives of the President of the University of Anbar, Prof. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nida, under the direct supervision of the Director of the Biomedical Engineering Research Center, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Amer Al-Rawi, and with close follow-up from the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, the Center carried out a large-scale tree planting campaign around the Center’s building. The campaign included the use of specialized machinery for land preparation, the addition of improved soil, and the planting of various shade trees and fruit-bearing plants to promote a sustainable and healthy environment. Additionally, a modern drip irrigation system was installed to ensure efficient water usage and long-term sustainability of the green areas. This initiative reflects the Center’s ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability and enhancing the aesthetic and ecological aspects of the university campus, aligning with the University’s vision for a greener and more sustainable future. The Biomedical Engineering Research Center affirms its continuous efforts to implement initiatives that serve the academic community and contribute to the development of environmentally friendly infrastructure.
