University of Anbar Researchers Achieve International Scientific Milestone with Two IEEE-Indexed Papers at ACIT 2025

Under the patronage and support of the Biomedical Engineering Research Center, a research team led by Prof Dr. Yousif Ismail Al-Mashhadani achieved a distinguished scientific accomplishment through the publication of two research papers in the proceedings of the 26th International Arab Conference on Information Technology (ACIT 2025), which is indexed within IEEE international publications. This achievement reflects the advanced academic and research presence of the University of Anbar in international scientific forums. The first paper, entitled “High Performance for Fault Detection and Treatment System with Information Technology,” focused on the development of intelligent systems for fault detection and treatment in information technology environments, with particular emphasis on fault tolerance techniques and enhancing the reliability of modern electronic systems and networks. The research was conducted by Prof Dr. Yousif Ismail Al-Mashhadani from the Biomedical Engineering Research Center / University of Anbar, Assistant Lecturer Haitham Abdul Ubaid from the University of Anbar / Reconstruction and Projects Department, Dr. Muhannad Abdulsalam Al-Askari from the Biomedical Engineering Research Center / University of Anbar, and Prof Dr. Taqiuddin Al-Samadi from Jerash University, in collaboration with researchers from Arab and international universities. The second paper, entitled “Auditing Energy Consumption and Efficiency in the Hospitals Sector in Jordan Using Data Approaches, AI, and IoT,” addressed the application of artificial intelligence, Internet of Things technologies, and advanced data analytics to audit energy consumption and improve operational efficiency in hospitals, thereby supporting the transition toward smart hospitals and sustainable healthcare systems. The study was co-authored by Professor Dr. Yousif Ismail Al-Mashhadani, Prof Dr. Taqiuddin Al-Samadi from Jerash University / Jordan, and Dr. Mousa Bani Baker from Al Ain University, along with several specialized researchers from Arab universities. This scientific achievement further highlights the advanced research standing of the Biomedical Engineering Research Center at the University of Anbar and underscores the pioneering role of Prof Dr. Yousif Ismail Al-Mashhadani in leading international research projects and strengthening scientific collaboration with Arab and global academic institutions, contributing significantly to the advancement of scientific research and the enhancement of the University of Anbar’s academic reputation and rankings.
