As part of the continuous academic achievements of the University of Anbar, Asst. Lecturer Mohammed Hussein from the University of Anbar / BIomedical Engineering Research Center has participated in publishing a peer-reviewed scientific research paper in the international journal Results in Engineering, issued by Elsevier, which is classified within the first quartile (Q1) of the Scopus database, indicating its high scientific impact and global academic standing. The research paper is entitled: “Evolution of mechanical performance of bidirectional carbon fiber composites utilizing a novel recipe of amine-functionalized graphene (Gr-NH2) and hydroxy-functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT-OHs)” The study focuses on enhancing the mechanical performance of bidirectional carbon fiber-reinforced composites through the use of an innovative hybrid combination of functionalized graphene and multi-walled carbon nanotubes. The findings contribute to improving strength, fracture resistance, and durability of composite materials, expanding their potential in advanced engineering and medical applications. This achievement highlights the active role of Asst. Lecturer Mohammed Hussein in advancing high-quality scientific research and reflects the commitment of the Medical Engineering Research Center to supporting innovative studies that strengthen the international academic reputation of the University of Anbar. Such a publication represents a significant addition to the university’s scientific output and reinforces its presence in globally recognized academic indexing platforms.
