As part of the ongoing series of scientific achievements accomplished by the staff of the Biomedical Engineering Research Center at the University of Anbar, and under the direct supervision of the Center’s Director, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Amer Al-Rawi, the research team—comprising Prof. Dr. Yousif Al-Mashhadani, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Amer Al-Rawi, and Dr. Sami Abduljabbar Al-Fahdawi—has successfully obtained acceptance for the publication of their research paper titled: “Experimental Demonstration of Cost-Effective Real-Time Risk Prediction and Energy Management System for Fog-Cloud-IoT Architecture in Smart City Applications” in the 4th Annual International Conference on Information and Sciences (AIC’25), which is indexed in Scopus. This achievement underscores the leading role of the Biomedical Engineering Research Center in promoting high-quality scientific output and supporting the university’s vision toward innovation and the integration of advanced technologies in research and community service. The accepted study reflects the team’s capability to deliver experimentally validated, practical solutions aimed at enhancing real-time risk prediction and energy management in a cost-effective manner, in alignment with the growing demands of modern smart city infrastructures. Furthermore, the conference scientific committee announced that outstanding papers presented at AIC’25 will be selected for publication in the journal F Ten Thousand, which is indexed in the Clarivate database and ranked Q1—highlighting the potential for this research to reach an even broader and more prestigious scientific audience.
