A New Advanced Scientific Achievement by the Staff of the Biomedical Engineering Research Center at the University of Anbar

The staff of the Medical Engineering Research Center at the University of Anbar has achieved a new and advanced scientific accomplishment through the publication of a high-quality research article in the international F1000Research journal, which is classified within the first quartile (Q1) in global indexing databases. This achievement was realized by a distinguished research team led by the Director of the Center, Assistant Prof Dr. Ali Amer Al-Rawi, in collaboration with Prof Dr. Yousif Al-Mashhadany and Dr. Sami Abduljabbar Al-Fahdawi. The research team successfully published their article entitled: “Experimental Demonstration of Cost-Effective Real-Time Risk Prediction and Energy Management System for Fog-Cloud-IoT Architecture in Smart City Applications.” The article was published in F1000Research under the Open Peer Review publishing model, one of the most advanced and transparent scientific publishing frameworks adopted internationally, which enhances research visibility, credibility, and scientific impact. In this regard, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Amer Al-Rawi, Director of the Center, praised this scientific achievement, emphasizing that it reflects the advanced academic level of the Center’s research staff. He also encouraged the Center’s researchers to continue pursuing similar high-quality scientific achievements in support of the academic mission and to contribute to improving the overall research performance of both the Center and the University of Anbar, while strengthening the university’s presence in international scientific rankings.
