University of Anbar Issues List of Ten Scientific Journals Recommended Against Publication to Uphold Academic Quality Standards

In line with the University of Anbar’s commitment to upholding research quality and academic integrity, the Advisory Committee for Scientific Publishing, during its third meeting, has issued a list of ten scientific journals in which publication is not recommended. This decision was made following a thorough academic evaluation based on established criteria of accreditation, scholarly rigor, and recognized publishing standards. The list includes the following journals: Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems – IOS Press Environmental Toxicology – Wiley Soft Computing – Springer Nature Journal of the Indian Chemical Society – Elsevier International Journal of Advances in Signal and Image Sciences – XLESCIENCE Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention – Asian Pacific Organization for Cancer Prevention Condensed Matter and Interphases – Voronezh State University Journal of Experimental Zoology India – Prof. (Dr.) P. R. Yadav Condensed Matter and Interphases – Voronezh State University Acta Medica Iranica – Medical Sciences University of Teheran The Committee emphasized that this measure aligns with the University’s policy of guiding researchers toward publishing in reputable, internationally recognized journals, thereby enhancing the University’s academic standing and global ranking. ???? Furthermore, under the direction of the Director of the Medical Engineering Research Center at the University of Anbar, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Amer Al-Rawi, the Center’s staff have been formally instructed to comply fully with the Committee’s decisions and to refrain from publishing in the aforementioned journals. Researchers are also advised to verify the accreditation and standing of any journal prior to submission, in order to safeguard research quality and uphold the University’s academic reputation. The University of Anbar calls upon all researchers to adhere to the issued guidelines and to consult the relevant authorities regarding the selection of appropriate scientific journals for publication.
