Ministerial Committee for Quality Assurance and Institutional Accreditation Visits the Biomedical Engineering Research Center at the University of Anbar Sunday, May 10, 2026 The Biomedical Engineering Research Center at the University of Anbar welcomed the Ministerial Committee for Quality Assurance and Institutional Accreditation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The visit aimed to review the institutional accreditation standards and evaluate the administrative and scientific activities of the center, as well as the extent of implementing approved quality assurance standards. The committee was received by the Head of the Scientific Affairs Department at the University of Anbar, the Head of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, and the Director of the Biomedical Engineering Research Center. During the visit, the committee was briefed on the center’s scientific and research activities and the services it provides in the field of biomedical engineering research. The committee also toured the scientific laboratories and research facilities and reviewed the procedures adopted to implement quality assurance and institutional accreditation standards. The members of the committee praised the efforts exerted by the center’s administration and staff in developing the research and academic environment, contributing to the advancement of scientific and research standards at the university.
