On Wednesday, March 5, 2025, the Medical Engineering Research Center, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Center, held a specialized workshop titled:
“Biomedical Sensor and Signal Processing: A Hands-On MATLAB Workshop,”
presented by Dr. Ali Amer Ahmed.
The workshop showcased the latest technologies in biomedical sensors and explored the mechanisms for processing medical signals using MATLAB. It witnessed remarkable engagement from the attendees, featuring real-life examples from laboratories and hospitals, with an emphasis on the precision and significance of enhanced signal processing in medical applications.
The event concluded with the distribution of participation certificates to the attendees, who praised the scientific and practical benefits gained through discussions and interactive experiences. This workshop is part of a series of activities aimed at strengthening expertise and developing skills in medical engineering, which the center is committed to providing on a regular basis.
