As part of the ongoing scientific activities carried out by the staff of the Biomedical Engineering Research Center at the University of Anbar—particularly in the field of research—several members of the center have achieved significant accomplishments that reflect the center’s distinguished academic standing. The Director of the Center, Prof. Dr. Youssef Al-Mashhadany, received approval to publish his research titled "Deep Learning-Assisted EEG Signal Processing for Real-Time Seizure Detection in IoMT" at the 3rd International Conference on Emerging Trends in IoT and Computing (AI), which is indexed in Scopus. This achievement underscores the scientific value of the research and its alignment with recent advancements in artificial intelligence and medical technologies. Additionally, Assist. Lectuer Sami Abdul-Jabbar Rashid, a faculty member at the center, also received approval to publish his research titled "Multi-UAV Data Collection based Task Balanced Cluster Head Selection with Routing Protocol in UAV Guided IoT Environment" at the same conference. This highlights the breadth of research specializations within the center and its focus on emerging technologies. In a further demonstration of the academic competence of the center's staff, Dr. Ali Amer Al-Rawi was awarded a certificate of appreciation for his role in reviewing the scientific research paper titled "Optimal Control Applications and Methods" in the field of control systems, published in the WILEY journal, which is indexed in Clarivate. This recognition reflects the high level of academic trust placed in the center’s members by international scientific forums. These achievements embody the center’s commitment to advancing scientific research and active participation in global conferences and journals, thereby contributing to the elevation of the academic reputation of both the center and the university.
