Within the framework of a distinguished scientific visit to Universities of Anbar  distinguished achievement in opening the Biomedical Engineering Research Center, the center’s staff received the President of University of Anbar, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nada, accompanied by the Director General of the Research and Development Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Lubna Khamis Mahdi, and during the visit, Dr. Lubna was briefed on the center’s achievements and future plans, as she discussed with the work team ways to enhance research cooperation with other scientific institutions, in addition to expanding the scope of research in the field of medical engineering and the production of artificial limbs.

Dr. Lubna expressed her admiration for the advanced equipment and stimulating research environment at the center, stressing her support for the university’s efforts to promote innovation and develop scientific research. She also stressed the importance of strengthening partnerships between academic and research institutions to advance scientific and technological progress in Iraq.
