A New Scientific Achievement by the Biomedical Engineering Research Center at the University of Anbar

As part of the ongoing international scientific activities undertaken by the staff of the Biomedical Engineering Research Center at the University of Anbar—and with the continuous guidance and both moral and material support of the Center’s Director, Prof. Dr. Yousif Al-Mashhadany—Assistant Lecturer Sami Abduljabbar Rasheed Al-Fahdawi, a member of the research staff, has achieved a new milestone by securing the acceptance of his research paper titled: “Delay-Minimization and Back-Off Aware Q-Learning with Advanced Bio-Inspired CH Selection for Multi-hop Communication in Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks” for publication in the journal Radio Science. This esteemed international journal is indexed in Scopus, where it is ranked in Quartile 2 (Q2) across several disciplines, and in Clarivate (Web of Science), where it is classified in Quartile 3 (Q3). This accomplishment was realized in collaboration with international researchers from Malaysia and the United Kingdom. Prof. Dr. Yousif Al-Mashhadany praised this distinguished scholarly effort, expressing his appreciation for Al-Fahdawi’s contribution and emphasizing its role in enhancing the center’s academic standing both locally and internationally. He also encouraged other staff members to pursue similar achievements and contribute to elevating the research and academic profile of the center and the university.
