Third Prosthetic Limb Produced at Anbar Research Center

As part of the ongoing research and applied efforts undertaken by the staff of the Biomedical Engineering Research Center at the University of Anbar, and under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Yousif AlMashhadany, Director of the Center, and in cooperation with the Fallujah Center for Prosthetics, affiliated with the Anbar Health Directorate, the third prosthetic limb has been successfully developed and delivered within the Center. The prosthesis was provided to the beneficiary Mr. Mohammed Mushtaq Talib, one of the people of determination, within a record period not exceeding two weeks. Prof. Dr. AlMashhadany praised the exceptional efforts exerted by the Center’s staff, commending their high level of professionalism and humane approach in handling special cases. In turn, Mr. Mohammed Mushtaq Talib expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to the Director and the entire team for the remarkable cooperation and support he received. Emphasizing the importance of continuing such humanitarian initiatives, Prof. Dr. AlMashhadany encouraged the Center’s staff to maintain their momentum in delivering impactful contributions that serve the local community and elevate the institutional performance of both the Center and the University. This achievement marks a new milestone in the collaborative efforts between academic institutions and the healthcare sector, aligning with the goals of sustainable development and reinforcing the University's leadership in research and community service.
