New Scientific Achievement by the Medical Engineering Research Center: Q1 Publication in Collaboration with UTM Malaysia

As part of the scientific activities and academic openness pursued by the staff of the Biomedical Engineering Research Center at the University of Anbar, a significant academic achievement has been realized through the publication of a research article in the Results in Engineering journal, which is ranked in the first quartile (Q1) with a Scopus CiteScore of 7.3 and a Clarivate H-index of 7.9, in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). This accomplishment was achieved under a joint supervision arrangement for the Ph.D. dissertation of Asst. Prof. Eng. Ahmed Khudair Abbas, a faculty member in the Department of Construction and Projects – Presidency of the University of Anbar, supervised by Prof. Dr. Yousif Ismail Al-Mashhadani. The published review article explores advanced techniques for energy management and optimal sizing of renewable microgrids integrated with electric vehicles, emphasizing intelligent solutions such as artificial intelligence and blockchain technology to ensure efficiency and stability in future energy systems.
