Under the patronage of the Honorable Prime Minister of Iraq, and in the presence of the Ministers of Energy from Egypt, Libya, and Turkey, the President of OPEC, as well as representatives from more than twelve foreign countries, the Center for Biomedical Engineering Research at the University of Anbar took part in the Baghdad International Energy Forum, held over two days at Al-Rasheed Hotel in the capital, Baghdad. The forum was attended by a distinguished group of academics, experts, and policymakers in the fields of energy and sustainable development, providing a vital platform for dialogue and the exchange of expertise between national and international institutions. The Center was represented by its Director, Dr. Ali Amer Al-Rawi, who emphasized in his remarks the significance of participating in such events to strengthen the presence of the University of Anbar and its research centers on the national and regional stage. He further highlighted the role of these engagements in expanding avenues of collaboration with various institutions in support of Iraq’s scientific progress and sustainable development.
