In accordance with the directives of the President of the University of Anbar, an official delegation from the university conducted a visit to the Scientific Research Authority with the purpose of following up on and activating the provisions of the scientific cooperation memorandum signed between the two institutions, as well as strengthening frameworks of institutional partnership in the fields of research and development. The delegation was composed of Professor Dr. Amir Abdulrahman, Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Salah Awad, Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Amer Al-Rawi, Director of the Medical Engineering Research Center, Dr. Omar Khaldoun, representing the University Presidency, Dr. Mohammed Al-Jumaili from the Medical Engineering Research Center, and Assistant Lecturer Rami Adel Qasim from the same center. During the meeting, the Scientific Research Authority presented a comprehensive overview of its strategic plans and future programs aimed at supporting joint research projects, developing mechanisms of academic cooperation, and discussing ways to enhance scientific competencies and exchange expertise in order to advance both research and educational processes. Both parties emphasized the importance of expanding areas of cooperation and integrating efforts between the two institutions in line with national priorities for advancing scientific research and developing the academic environment in Iraq. At the conclusion of the visit, the University of Anbar delegation expressed its appreciation for the pivotal role played by the Scientific Research Authority in supporting and advancing the academic and scientific mission, reaffirming the commitment to sustained coordination to achieve the strategic objectives of both sides.
