A research team from the Center for Biomedical Engineering Research at the University of Anbar, consisting of Dr. Ali Amer Al-Rawi, Director of the Center, Prof. Dr. Yousif AlMashhadani, and Asst. Lecturer Sami Abduljabbar Al-Fahdawi, has successfully obtained acceptance for the publication of their scientific studies entitled: EEG-Based Classification of Human Limb Movements: A Comprehensive Performance Evaluation of KNN, LDA, Decision Tree, and Random Forest Models Artificial Hand Force Estimation System Based on Electromyography Signals with Metaheuristic Optimization Algorithm This achievement reflects the university’s commitment to supporting pioneering research in the fields of biomedical engineering and artificial intelligence, and to strengthening its academic standing both regionally and internationally. The accepted works contribute innovative solutions that aim to advance healthcare technologies and serve society at large. In line with this vision of fostering international cooperation, Prof. Dr. Yousif AlMashhadani will participate as a Keynote Speaker in the International Workshop on “Synergy between Health, Artificial Intelligence, and Pedagogical Excellence (SHAPE 2025)”, scheduled to be held in Erbil on December 17–18, 2025. The event is organized in collaboration with the University of Liverpool and the University of Bradford (UK). Prof. Al-Mashhadany will deliver a keynote lecture addressing cutting-edge research trends in artificial intelligence applications in healthcare, highlighting the contributions of the University of Anbar in this domain. This academic engagement underscores the importance of international research collaboration, which the University of Anbar actively seeks to expand as part of its strategy to promote scientific innovation, exchange expertise, and enhance global visibility. The efforts of the Center for Biomedical Engineering Research reaffirm the university’s dedication to achieving impactful and globally recognized scientific outcomes.
