Anbar Journal of Engineering Sciences Participates in the Conference of Iraqi Journals and Global Platforms to Enhance Academic Publishing Quality

The Anbar Journal of Engineering Sciences participated in the Scientific Conference on Iraqi Journals and Global Platforms, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the active involvement of Iraqi universities and international academic publishing institutions. The journal was represented by Prof. Dr. Yousif Ismail AlMashhadani, Editor-in-Chief, and Prof. Dr. Ali Amer Ahmed Al-Rawi, Editorial Board Member and Director of the Center for Biomedical Engineering Research at the University of Anbar. This participation reflected the journal’s commitment to strengthening its presence in scientific events that aim to enhance the quality of Iraqi academic publishing and broaden its global visibility. The conference agenda included lectures and panel discussions on the importance of global indexing for Arabic scholarly content, mechanisms to support digital transformation through research management platforms, as well as presentations of pioneering experiences such as the Egyptian Knowledge Bank Project, and initiatives by Elsevier Digital Commons and Clarivate, which aim to amplify the impact and visibility of scientific research. During its participation, the delegation of the Anbar Journal of Engineering Sciences reaffirmed the journal’s dedication to implementing international best practices and standards in academic publishing, while continuously striving to include its publications in global databases. This effort contributes to elevating the standing of scientific research at the University of Anbar and Iraqi universities more broadly.
