Advanced Training Course on Computer-Aided Design and Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) Systems at the Biomedical Engineering Research Center

The staff of the Biomedical Engineering Research Center at the University of Anbar continues to organize specialized scientific activities in collaboration with the Center for Continuing Education, under the direct supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Amer Al-Rawi, Director of the Center for Biomedical Engineering Research. This initiative comes as part of the Center’s ongoing efforts to enhance research skills, strengthen academic collaboration, and promote the exchange of technical expertise among researchers and staff members. As part of these activities, Dr. Kazem Ahmed Abd delivered an advanced training course focused on the characteristics and applications of CAD/CAM systems, held at the Center for Biomedical Engineering Research. The course addressed key topics such as three-dimensional engineering design, digital manufacturing processes, and their applications in medical and engineering fields. It also included practical demonstrations illustrating how virtual models can be transformed into physical products using modern computer-aided design and manufacturing tools. These continuous initiatives aim to enhance the competence of academic and research staff in utilizing advanced design and manufacturing technologies, thereby contributing to the advancement of biomedical engineering, industrial innovation, and applied research within and beyond the University of Anbar.
