A New Research Achievement by the Biomedical Engineering Research Center at the University of Anbar in Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Computing

As part of the research agenda adopted by the Biomedical Engineering Research Center at the University of Anbar, and under the direct supervision of Assistant Prof Dr. Ali Amer Al-Rawi, Director of the Center, a significant scientific achievement has been accomplished. Dr. Muhannad Abdul-Salam Younis, a faculty member at the Center, has successfully published his research paper entitled: “Lightweight Deep Reinforcement Learning Model for Energy-Efficient Resource Allocation in Edge Computing” in the Mesopotamian Journal of Computer Science, a Scopus-indexed international journal ranked in Quartile 2 (Q2). This achievement represents a continuation of the Center’s efforts to support researchers and encourage the publication of high-quality scientific studies that align with global advancements in artificial intelligence and advanced computing. Moreover, it reflects the Center’s commitment to the University of Anbar’s vision of enhancing research excellence and strengthening academic collaboration through the dissemination of innovative knowledge that contributes to both local and international scientific development.
