Delegation from the Biomedical Engineering Research Center Visits the College of Engineering at Al-Nahrain University to Enhance Scientific and Research Cooperation

As part of ongoing efforts to expand the horizons of scientific collaboration and exchange of academic expertise, a delegation from the University of Anbar conducted a scientific visit to Al-Nahrain University / College of Engineering. The delegation included: Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Amer Ahmed Al-Rawi, Director of the Center for Biomedical Engineering Research, Prof. Dr. Thakir Mahmood Nail, accompanied by Dr. Hamed Shamal Musheb, Director General of the Center for Information and Communication Technology and a member of the Board of Directors of the Center for Biomedical Engineering Research. The delegation was received by Prof. Dr. Iyad Murad, Dean of the College of Engineering, who welcomed the guests and expressed his appreciation for the visit, emphasizing its significance in strengthening scientific and research cooperation between the two institutions. The visit included a field tour of the Departments of Prosthetics and Orthotics and Biomedical Engineering, where the delegation was introduced to the laboratories and advanced research facilities. Discussions also focused on opportunities for academic and research integration in fields of mutual interest, particularly in biomedical engineering, prosthetics, and applied scientific research. The two sides also discussed the development of joint research projects, as well as the organization of workshops and specialized training courses aimed at enhancing research capabilities and advancing academic performance in both institutions. At the conclusion of the visit, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening mutual cooperation to achieve integration in scientific research and technological development, and to support projects that contribute to the service of the community and the healthcare sector in Iraq.
