The first meeting of the Biomedical Engineering Research Center staff was held on Thursday, February 6, 2025

The first meeting of the staff of the Biomedical Engineering Research Center was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Yousif Ismail Al Mashhadany. The meeting began with a welcoming speech delivered by the head of the center, in which he welcomed the new staff. He personally referred to the efforts of the presidency of Anbar University, represented by Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nada, in supporting the idea of ??creating the center, stressing the importance of his role in supporting the center’s progress and enhancing its research and scientific standing.

The meeting dealt with several main topics, including the structure of the center, where the organizational structure of the center and its various departments were explained, with clarification of the roles and responsibilities assigned to each department to ensure the effective flow of work. Then, the director of the center reviewed the scientific and administrative staff of the center, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between the departments to achieve integration in work.

A number of working committees were formed within the center and the tasks of each of them Including scientific research committees, quality committees, scientific cooperation committees, workshops and conferences committees, and others.

 At the meeting, the center’s research strategy for the coming period was discussed, specifying the research priorities and goals that will be achieved during the coming period, in addition to enhancing cooperation with local and international research institutions.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the results of the center’s logo competition were presented, where assistant teacher Wissam Saad Mohammed was honored in appreciation for his dedication to work and for designing the winning logo. A shield of excellence and a letter of thanks and appreciation were presented to him, as an expression of the center’s gratitude for its distinguished efforts. Then the meeting concluded with positive interaction from the attendees, as the floor for discussion was opened to receive proposals and ideas that would develop the center’s work and enhance its research standing.
