**The Biomedical Engineering Research Center Receives a Ministerial Committee from Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research** Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Amer Al-Rawi, Director of the Biomedical Engineering Research Center, received a ministerial committee from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on **Wednesday, 22 April**, as part of the Ministry’s field visits to monitor the performance of research centers in Iraqi universities. The visit was attended by Professor Dr. Qutaiba Al-Rawi, Head of the Scientific Affairs Department at the Presidency of University of Anbar. During the visit, the committee reviewed the administrative procedures of the center and the workflow within the **departments and units**, in addition to inspecting the research laboratories and the available scientific equipment, assessing their readiness to support research and applied activities. The committee also listened to a brief presentation delivered by the center’s administration, highlighting the key scientific activities, ongoing research projects, and future plans aimed at enhancing research performance and improving the quality of outputs. The committee confirmed that such visits are conducted within the Ministry’s plan to follow up and evaluate the performance of research centers on a regular basis, with the aim of advancing scientific research and strengthening its role in community service. At the end of the visit, the committee expressed its appreciation for the efforts of the Biomedical Engineering Research Center in supporting the research environment and contributing to scientific development.
