The Biomedical Engineering Research Center and the Traffic Directorate Discuss Ways to Enhance Road Safety and Reduce Accidents

Based on the directives of the President of the University of Anbar, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nida, regarding enhancing cooperation with state departments and institutions and in continuous coordination with the Anbar Traffic Directorate, the Medical Engineering Research Center at the University of Anbar visited the Director of Relations and Media at the Anbar Traffic Directorate, Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Ali Diab, to discuss the project submitted by the center, which aims to reduce deaths in traffic accidents. He was received by Prof. Dr. Yousif Ismail Al Mashhadany, Director of the Medical Engineering Research Center, and a number of the center's staff, where the visit witnessed a discussion of the mechanisms and procedures capable of reducing the rate of road accidents and improving aspects of traffic safety. The deliberations resulted in a number of recommendations, most notably:
1. Opening channels of scientific and research cooperation between the Anbar Traffic Directorate and the University of Anbar.
2. Submitting the project submitted by the center officially to the Anbar Health Directorate and the Anbar Traffic Directorate to take the necessary executive measures.
At the end of the visit, the attendees stressed the importance of the Medical Engineering Research Center continuing to cooperate with the relevant authorities in order to put the recommendations into actual implementation and enhance the idea of ??smart systems in road management.
