Biomedical Engineering Research Center Achieves a Scientific Milestone with a Q1 Scopus Publication

The Biomedical Engineering Research Center at the University of Anbar has achieved a distinguished scientific accomplishment in collaboration with the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the same university. A distinguished research team successfully published a study entitled “Material Selection Method Based on Health, Reliability and Cost for Water Supply Pipe” in F1000 Research, a journal ranked in the first quartile of the Scopus database. The research was conducted under the supervision of Prof Yousif Al-Mashhadani and Dr. Kazem Ahmed Abdul from the Biomedical Engineering Research Center, in collaboration with Dr. Satar Mutlak from the Department of Mechanical Engineering. This achievement reflects the high level of academic and research excellence pursued by both the center and the university and enhances their standing among prestigious research institutions. In this context, the Director of the Medical Engineering Research Center, Associate Professor Dr. Ali Amer Al-Rawi, commended this scientific accomplishment and encouraged the rest of the staff to continue pursuing innovative research efforts, recognizing their significant role in elevating the scientific and research standards of both the center and the university.
