The Biomedical Engineering Research Center, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Center, organized a training course entitled "Applications of Virtual Reality in Scientific Research and Graduate Student Projects," which lasted for three days. The course commenced on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at the Biomedical Engineering Research Center headquarters. The course was presented by Professor Dr. Yousif Ismail Al Mashhadany, Director of the Biomedical Engineering Research Center. It included a series of theoretical and practical lectures on virtual reality technologies, their significance in scientific research, and the primary tools and platforms used to develop virtual reality projects among graduate students. The course witnessed the participation of several faculty members and the center’s staff, who showed significant interest in the subject. It was distinguished by rich interactive discussions and exchanges of experiences among participants. At the conclusion of the course, participants praised the importance of such training initiatives in enhancing practical skills and developing research capabilities among students and researchers, expressing their desire for more specialized workshops and courses that contribute to elevating the level of scientific research.
